Brighton, southern England’s seaside playground, presents an eccentric face to the world.

Known as “London’s Beach”, the city is a 50 minute train journey from the capital and has been a destination for London day-trippers for more than 200 years.

In fact it ranks in the top-10 for international visitors, due in part to its location – close to the Channel Tunnel, ports and Gatwick Airport.

Officially a city since 2000 when it joined with neighboring Hove to form, naturally Brighton and Hove, the city has a “go-ahead” feel without losing its’ small-town like charm.
